Meet our Guild Performers

(shown alphabetically)

Courtney fell in love with Middle Eastern dance over 15 years ago.  She is a member of both Jawaahir and Blue Lotus Middle Eastern Dancers.  Currently, in addition to dancing with those dance companies, you can find Courtney dancing at the Mediterranean Cruise Cafe in Burnsville, MN.

Emalee teaches (online) classes and workshops, directs the troupes Blue Lotus Dancers and Bellydonna, and enjoys performing at the Mediterranean Cruise and Ansari’s Grill. www.emaleebellydance.com and IG: @emaleebellyance

What’s an Open Stage?

From time to time, the Guild of Middle Eastern Dance collaborates with a local restaurant to create a presentation of amazing and delightful Middle Eastern dancers. You'll enjoy a variety of performances by members and friends of The Guild of Middle Eastern Dance. Enjoy a delicious meal from the many choices of Mediterranean cuisine.

During COVID-19 time

Dancers are not required to wear a mask but may choose to wear mask.*
As you enjoy the show, please follow these guidelines:

  • Please enjoy the dancing from your table.
  • Please do not join the dancer onstage unless you are specifically invited up by the dancer.
  • If you wish to tip the dancer, please use tip basket near the stage, or see electronic tip information by the tip basket.

*According to the State of Minnesota Emergency Executive Order 20-81 based on CDC guidelines for communal space, section 12.a.iv.A has a provision for the removal of a face covering when performing or presenting.
